Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using any part of SaaS Royale (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Authentication is handled by Clerk; their terms and privacy policy also apply to your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit URLs that host malware, phishing, CSAM, or illegal content.
• Submit URLs for the sole purpose of harassing their owner.
• Attempt to manipulate scores, Trophies, or collection drops through automation, botting, or exploits.
• Abuse the API, scrape the site, or overload our infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass paid features.

We may remove submissions, suspend accounts, or ban users who violate these rules, at our discretion.

4. SaaS submissions and scraping

Anyone can submit any public URL. When you submit a URL, you represent that it points to a publicly accessible website and that its content does not violate these Terms. We fetch and analyze the public content of that page to generate a battle card.

If a SaaS on the platform is yours, you can claim it via DNS verification (a TXT record on your domain). Verified ownership grants you dashboard access, premium features, and control over your card.

We respect robots.txt directives where possible but reserve the right to fetch publicly available pages. If you're the owner of a SaaS and want it removed, see Section 9.

5. Scoring disclaimer

Stats, rankings, and battle outcomes are produced by automated analysis and are provided for entertainment and benchmarking purposes only. They are not a certification of quality, security, or business performance, and should not be relied upon for investment or commercial decisions.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Crowned is billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period.

We do not provide pro-rated refunds for mid-period cancellations. If you believe you've been billed in error, contact us within 14 days and we'll look into it.

7. Intellectual property

The SaaS Royale brand, visual design, card layout, and code are ours or our licensors'. The public content we display about your SaaS (logo, name, description extracted from your landing page) remains yours. We display it under fair use as part of an analytical / editorial benchmarking service.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Takedowns and disputes

If you're the owner of a SaaS listed on SaaS Royale and want the listing removed or corrected, email us at hello@saasroyale.com from an address on the domain. We respond within 5 business days.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaaS Royale is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site and the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
